A record number of women and children are losing their housing —forced to live on the streets as a result of the current economic crisis. Before the crisis, there were over 1,200 women and children without shelter each night in Baltimore city. According to the last homeless census, this number has increased by 12%. At the same time, emergency housing for these families has dwindled to a critical level. Please join us in meeting the needs of this vulnerable population, helping them with a new beginning.

The mission of Baltimore Outreach Services, Inc. (BOS) is to provide comprehensive services and programs to homeless and impoverished women and their children. These services include emergency shelter, transitional housing, permanent housing, educational programing, heath and mental health services, job training, and employment counseling. Children's services include after-school tutoring and homework assistance, access to a pediatric nurse practitioner and a children's mental health therapist.

Together, we can make a difference!
